Office Renovations

April 19th, 2012 | Posted by Carlo Sia in Update - (Comments Off)

To all the loyal customers of the Print Shop, we have some exciting news for you. Well, maybe it’s more exciting for us than it is for you. For the next few weeks the Print Shop will be undergoing some renovations! Over the past couple years, we have been putting all our extra pennies in a jar and we finally have enough of them to update the office. Because of these renovations, we may take a little extra time to complete your job requests. We will try our hardest to have them done in a timely manner, but please don’t send us hate mail if we aren’t able to meet your deadlines. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Print Shop Design & Labour Fee

October 27th, 2011 | Posted by Carlo Sia in Update - (Comments Off)

Over the past several years the Print Shop has evolved from a simple copy shop to a more advanced design and print centre. Up until this year, we have taken pride in our quick turn around and affordable prices. Recently, we seemed to have reached our capacity. Due to the more complicated and time consuming project requests that have been coming through the Print Shop, we have not been able to keep up with the demand. In order to better serve the people, we will be implementing a small design and labour fee of $10 per hour for any jobs that require any design or finishing. This money will go towards relief help when the Print Shop requires a helping hand to complete your requests in a timely manner.

MathWorks Update

September 16th, 2011 | Posted by Carlo Sia in Print | Update - (Comments Off)

Just a quick update to the schools who are still waiting for a set of the MathWorks 10 & 11 workbooks, the books have been split into two parts in order for the printer to be able to bind them properly. All copies of Part 1 will be printed and put in each school’s mail bin by the end of today. Once all copies of Part 1 are sent out, we will start printing Part 2. We are hoping to have those printed and placed in each school’s mail bin by the middle of next week.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your students. Now that we’ve ironed out the wrinkles things should go a lot smoother next year.

Welcome Back!

August 16th, 2011 | Posted by Carlo Sia in Business Cards | Printing Requests | Update | Welcome - (Comments Off)

I hope everyone had a great summer. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. The good news is, we only have ten more months until next summer!

While you were  all out at the lake enjoying the beautiful weather we had this year, the Print Shop was busy preparing booklets and other learning material for the children to use as tools to construct the knowledge buildings in their brains. We have also updated this site to showcase some of the many things we are able to do for you and your school. Have a look around and see how the Print Shop can help you with your next graphics/print job.

We have also created two handy online request forms that can easily be filled out for any future printing or business card requests from the Print Shop. Should you wish to request anything from the Print Shop, we strongly encourage you to use these forms as it helps us collect all the essential information needed to complete your job.

Thanks for stopping by. Here’s to another great year of making kids learn stuff!!

It’s On!

It has come to my attention that the district IT department has been trying to make their blogs better than mine. This cannot happen. They may have good looks and technological know-how, but when I figure out how to use WordPress, they better watch out.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”

It’s on IT department!
